IPSC Australia and IPSC South Australia are proud to host the 2026 IPSC Australia National Handgun Championships at Adelaide Pistol and Shooting Club (APSC), 882 Mallala Road, Korunye, SA 5501.
Our official major match sponsor is Grycol International.
Competitors can access discounted accommodation at the Mawson Lakes Hotel, 10 Main Street, Mawson Lakes, SA 5095 (https://mawsonlakeshotel.com.au/), by booking directly with reception and quoting the code IPSC.
Please note that discounts are not available for bookings made through third-party websites such as Booking.com, Wotif, or Qantas, etc. To receive the discount, bookings must be made by phone or email directly with the hotel.
Conveniently situated, the hotel is approximately 30 minutes from the range and 15 minutes from the awards dinner venue.
Rooms are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend booking early.
Registration and gun check will take place at APSC on 12 May 2026 (times TBC), unless alternative arrangements have been made with match officials.
For any registrations outside this time, please contact the Match Director, Steve Brown, in advance.
The shooting format will be split shift (rotating AM and PM). Squadding and shift allocation will be announced closer to the match.
The awards dinner will be held at the Donato Reception Centre (62 Humphries Terrace, Kilkenny, SA 5009) on the evening of Saturday, 16 May (time TBC). A strict dress standard (smart casual) will be enforced, and no shooting shirts, jeans, or thongs will be permitted.
Match shirts will be available for pre-order/purchase during online match registration via ECM at a cost of $70 each.

Visitors from other states or territories in Australia may not need a visitor’s licence, as long as they hold an interstate licence recognised in South Australia. If you are visiting South Australia from another state or territory, your interstate licence is mutually recognised provided:
International visitors to South Australia must apply for an International Visitors Permit authorising the possession and use of a firearm for competitive shooting in South Australia. The letter is provided as a Word document, enabling you to complete the relevant sections (indicated by angle brackets [< >]) with your personal details (e.g., name and passport number).

Typical arrangements will be in place for Range Officers accommodation, entry to the event, catering, and the awards dinner. Transport to and from the airport/range will also be available if required.

Full metal jacket projectiles are permitted be used at APSC. Jacketed hollow points, lead, copper washed, and copper plated projectiles (e.g. Frontier, Tiger Shark, Campro, etc.) are also acceptable.
Camping is available at the range; however sites are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
To book a campsite, please email Philip Wegener at camping@apsc.org.au and specify whether you require a powered or unpowered site. Please note that camping is only permitted with a confirmed booking, and all bookings must be made via email only.
Practice ranges will be available at Torrens Valley Pistol Club (Park Road, Riverlea Park, SA 5120; approximately 15 minutes from APSC) from 10th – 12th May 2026 only.
