2024 Rifle World Shoot III

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (EOI)

RWS III – FINLAND 2024

IPSC Australia (IPSCA) would like to call for expressions of interest to compete at RWS III – FINLAND 2024 to be held from August 04 through August 09, 2024 at Oulu, Finland.

At this stage as IPSCA is still waiting for Regional slots to be allocated and finalised, we are unable to provide details on Australia’s slot allocations. Nonetheless, in line with the standard Level VI and V match process, IPSCA requests that over the next 6 weeks, members interested in participating at the event should submit their EOI so that IPSCA can confirm the total number of slots required and endeavour to try and secure as many slots as possible. The fee of AUD$500 must accompany the EOI. (Email the Secretary for account details).

Again, in line with the standard practice, should there be a shortfall in available slots compared to slots requested by IPSCA, a ballot will be conducted at the 2023 Handgun Nationals to allocate non-team slots to our members.

IPSCA will be sending teams to RWS III – FINLAND 2024; teams will be selected as per the IPSCA Team Selection Criteria which is available at IPSC Australia Team Selection Criteria v2.3

Those members interested in being selected for Australian Teams must provide an EOI to compete at RWS III – FINLAND 2024. If successful, they will be duly notified and guaranteed a slot in the main match.

Please submit your EOI no later than 15 January 2024 by:

1. Logging in to the IPSC Australia Website (www.ipsc.org.au)
2. Access Match Information from the Participate Menu
3. Follow the link to Submit EOI for Rifle World Shoot III
4. Enter your membership details and submit the form
5. Wait for the confirmation page with the bank and transaction details
6. Transfer the deposit for the Treasurer to reconcile

Once Regional Slot allocations have been confirmed all members submitting an EOI will be notified if a Slot ballot is required or if they have been successful in securing a slot in the RWS III – FINLAND 2024.
