Welcome to IPSC Queensland

IPSC Queensland is the QLD association to coordinates the members and clubs affiliated to IPSC Australia, as well as organises IPSC-sanctioned matches in the state

Join Us!

If you wish to join in this exciting and challenging discipline of the shooting sports, you will need the following:

  • Be a member of a shooting club which is affiliated with IPSC. Look at the list of Queensland Clubs below.
  • Join IPSC as an individual member. Members are also encouraged to join SSAA.
  • Own a suitable handgun (centre-fire in 9mm, .38 super, .357, .357 Sig or .38), with holster and belt and also speed loaders (for revolver) or magazines (for semi-auto)
  • Pass the holster safety and proficiency test at your club. Enjoy!

Why join IPSC?

IPSC stages or courses of fire utilize many props and targets that are not found in the more traditional shooting disciplines. You will be presented with such things as the shooter moving around a stage, having moving targets, multiple targets, and the challenge of the competitor solving the course of fire as presented.
