The two Handgun matches are separate and will have different courses of fire, as dictated by IPSC rules What are the dates for the matches? OPTICS MATCH to be held on Friday and Saturday, 3 & 4 June 2022Presentation on Saturday IRON SIGHTS MATCH to be held on Sunday and Monday, 5 & 6 June 2022Presentation on Monday IPSC Australia Mid-Year Meeting to be held on Tuesday, 7 June 2022 RIFLE & SHOTGUN MATCHES to be held on Thursday and Friday, 9 & 10 June 2022 When and where will the Equipment Checks be held? All Equipment Checks to be conducted at TEPSL 08:00 – 16:00, Thursday 2 June 2022 for both matches (Optic and Iron Sights) 08:00 – 16:00, Saturday 4 June 2022 for Iron Sights 08:00 – 14:00, Wednesday 8 June 2022 for Rifle & Shotgun Do I need to bring all my equipment to Equipment Check? All equipment required for Equipment Check i.e., belt, holster, gun/s, and magazines for all divisions. I want to shoot the Rifle & Shotgun Matches but do not have Rifle & Shotgun endorsement on my Membership Card? A Rifle & Shotgun proficiency familiarisation is to be held on Wednesday 8 June 2022 at TEPSL. Further details provided closer to the date. Am I able to enter the OPTICS MATCH as IRON SIGHTS? No. The Optics Match is for those competitors shooting Optics Divisions only, i.e., Open, Production Optics and Production Optics Light. However, if you wish to compete in the Optics Match with an Iron Sights handgun you will be placed in to Open Division. Am I able to enter the IRON SIGHTS MATCH with an OPTIC SIGHTS handgun? No. The Iron Sights Match is for those competitors shooting Iron Sight Division handguns only, i.e., Standard, Production, Classic, Revolver. You cannot shoot the match for fun. If I enter the Optics or Iron Sights Match and want to enter the Rifle Match only, what entry Rifle & Shotgun entry fee do I pay? The one Rifle & Shotgun entry fee covers both Matches irrespective if you shoot Rifle and or Shotgun. If I DQ in one match, can I still shoot the other match? Yes. The Optics Match, Iron Sight and Rifle & Shotgun Matches are separate matches. A DQ stands for the match that the DQ happened in. If I fail to meet the division requirements in the Iron Sight match, will I be moved to Open? No. Open Division is not offered for the Iron Sight match. Competitors who fail to meet the Iron Sight Division requirements (equipment position, firearm dimensions, etc) will be allowed to complete the match, but for no score and they will not be included in the results. Will there be a Presentation Lunch or Dinner? There will be an Awards Presentation held at the end of each match at the range. No formal sit-down dinner, however, a BBQ will be available for a small cost. ECM Registration Everyone will need to register for the match through ECM. Once you have registered, you will then need to enter one or all of the matches.If you have registered previously for a match using ECM, you will only need to log in and select which ever match you wish to enter. When will squadding be opened? Squadding will open on 1 April 2022. Anyone who has entered the match will be able to go back in and squad themselves Those that are in teams will however be moved into team squads unless there are exceptional circumstances Can I be a member of a State Team in each match? The match has no jurisdiction over State Team selection. It is up to the States whether they select the same competitors for their Optic and Iron Sight teams
